I practice a form of one to one counselling which mixes astrology, existential philosophy and the Heroes Journey.
It is a particular form of guidance which is suitable for those who resonate with a more spiritual approach than traditional forms of guidance, but still want the intellectual rigour and grounding of someone with formal training.
I usually work with people who have already explored different types of inner work, who want to be both grounded in the world around them, while being true to their inner calling.
My philosophy is rooted in a couple of key ideas. The first is the Eastern view that living excellently entails an awareness of the ever shifting flow of life. That in each moment there is a harmonious way of relating to the world, and one must be faithful to their sense of this Way.
I also use the central Western myth that each person is a Hero who must outgrow their conditioning and learn to unfold their life from their heart. They must face their shadow, claim their unique gifts and be transformed into something greater in the process.
